A TRULY OUT-OF-THIS WORLD ADVENTURE -

The name says it all.
This out-of-this-world three week long excursion has
Roswell, New Mexico as its ultimate destination.

Whatever it was that crashed in Roswell on July 3, 1947, has led the town to become
a mecca for space enthusiasts from around the world, (and maybe even beyond).

We will enjoy the anniversary of the crash as the town celebrates its Annual UFO Festival.
There is a UFO Parade down Main Street.
There are UFO rides and so much more to enjoy,
including the multi-million dollar UFO Museum and an Alien Costume Contest.

On the way to and from Roswell, we will visit a series of other space and science museums,
including the Astronaut Museum and the Challenger Memorial Garden.
We will also explore native villages and cliff dwellings, old western ghost towns,
and a vast array of national parks
including Carlsbad Caverns, the Grand Canyon, Meteor Crater Site, Painted Desert, Petrified Forest, and more.

This out-of-this-world opportunity is
limited to a maximum of eight campers along with two mature, responsible, positive role-model counselors.
Travel is in our licensed, insured Eco Van.
Accomodations are in cabins, motels, and tents.
A truly out-of-this-world three week long adventure.

Perfect for children who are Sci-Fi enthusiasts
& those want to explore & experience more in 3 weeks than many do in 3 years!

Lodging

Our accommodations will vary night to night. Some nights we will camp out and pitch tents. Some nights we will stay in motels. Most nights we will stay in cabins.

Meals

On some evenings we may roast natural marshmallows from Chicago Soy Dairy or make smores at the campfire.

Healthy, conscious snacks will regularly be available.

For some meals, we may stop at restaurants and food will be ordered family style for us all to share. For some meals, campers may order themselves and will each be given money for that. Most of our meals, though, we will make together.

Fun

We may do some singing around the campfire at night (and certainly when we are traveling in the van), and any camper who plays guitar, harmonica, etc. Is welcome to bring his/her instrument.

The stars may be brilliant at night, and campers are welcome to bring portable telescopes if they have. We will have a camp telescope to share. We can also just do some looking up and star gazing.

We may play some night-time glow-in-the-dark Frisbee.

We may tell some stories in our tents or around the campfire - positive, uplifting, inspirational stories - not ghost stories! When we tell stories around the campfire or laying in our tents at night, we do not believe in telling stories that are designed to scare and create insecurity. Camp Exploration has always been focused on nothing but the most positive of values. We are especially focused on helping campers build their self-esteem, their positive relations with others, and their understanding of their important role in the world. Being in the midst of such beautiful, awe-inspiring nature, we will indeed be able to get into some positive, powerful discussions.

Roswell

When in Roswell, especially, there will be many fascinating discussions to be had.

Something happened in Roswell on July 3, 1947, but what it was is yet to be proven. There are, though, a wide array of interesting people we will encounter, and we will have plenty of opportunity for discussion.

The main event is the UFO Festival in Roswell over July 4th weekend.

At that event, there is an Alien Costume Contest. Our campers may come prepared having packed costumes for that special event.

This trip is truly out-of-this-world - with all of the alien/UFO/sci-fi/NASA/astronaut/science stuff - with all of the history, beyond the space history even to include much native and western history - with all of the natural stuff of such an array of national parks an more - this is truly an out-of-this-world opportunity!
